Ntchisi, Chikwawa and Chitipa Hospitals also benefit

After it's formation MAHECAS sent letters to all government hospitals and PHAM HQ asking them for equipment lists they would like MAHECAS to purchase for them. Only government hospitals responded and the committee selected these three hospitals, (one from each region), to be the initial beneficiaries. They were chosen because they wanted basic equipment which every hospital should have.

Chitipa Hospital received theatre instruments worth £1,970 out of a request worth £4,800.

Ntchisi Hospital received £1,000 worth of equipment from their list of £4,900 of equipment.

Chikwawa Hospital also received a Glucometer worth about £250 form Students of Ashville College, Harrogate, Yorkshire through Mr. Bevis, their teacher, in collaboration with MAHECAS.

MAHECAS hopes to fulfil it's commitment to these hospitals this year with your help and support.
