Fund-raising disco at Capital Hotel - Lilongwe

Dr. Charles Mwansambo, MAHECAS Malawi based coordinator, and friends organised a very successful event at Capital Hotel on 2nd August 1999. This was the first event organised in Malawi to help cover costs at the Malawian end. They had a lot of fun and managed to raise K3,523. They used this to fund the labelling of blankets at Zomba Mental Hospital and clear holding charges on the consignment for Chatinkha and still have some funds for a future expense.
