Glasgow Film Event

The event on Saturday 28th November at Strathclyde Hilton in Bothwell was not well attended but those who came seem to have enjoyed the two films.

One was the National Dance Troupe performing the popular Malawian dances beni, nyau, minoghe, ingoma, chimtali, etc. The other was a commentary on how gospel is being inculturated in the modern Malawi.

Colin Cameron attended and opened the event. Anne Hepburn of the Scottish Malawi network was there. Dr. Kadzombe for MAHECAS attended and Mr. Kevin Nhlane, the Scottish MAHECAS co-ordinator was there.
