Year 2001 Diary

Annual General Meeting
Saturday 10th March 2001 - Manchester

The Annual General Meeting and AGM Disco will be held on Saturday 10th March 2001 at a Nigerian club in central Manchester.

This is an important occasion to hear about your donations and fund-raising over the year, to hear about new ideas as to how Mahecas might further respond to the needs in healthcare in Malawi and, of course, an opportunity to catch up with friends. Don’t forget too that 2001 is an election year for all members of the Executive. Now is the time to start thinking about your nominations.

The AGM will start at 2.00pm It is very important to be there before the start of the AGM. The Disco will start at 8pm and this one will last throughout the night.

May Walk in North Wales

Watch out for details of the annual sponsored walk in Wales. This is an important fund-raising event for Mahecas.

Mid-Summer Dinner Dance
Saturday June 23rd - North London

There will be a mid-summer dinner/dance for the whole family on the longest Saturday of the year. The event will be close to Tottenham Hale tube & mainline station. We hope to be able to price this event under £20 and have some fun entertainment for all the family. Watch out for more details.

Annual Dinner Dance
Saturday 6th October - Essex

Our annual Essex dinner/dance will this year be back at an old favourite - The Palms Hotel. This is an important one for your diary now and in 2001 it would be good to see people arriving on time too!
